The table presents the data on the percentage of people, which experience unemployment in total labour workforce for 9 different countries during the given period of 1994 and 2004.
Overall, there is a pattern absorbed for Ireland as a country, in which workforce was affected the most, however in the year 2004 this percentage decreased considerably. In terms of countries with the lowest percentage of unemployment, Japan hold this position for both years.
Regarding those countries with the highest amount of people unemployed, it can be seen that countries, such as Italy, Australia and the UK, accounted for the percentage ranging from 7.2% to 11.8%, and eventually, each country declined it for about 4% in the following year. Ireland was the leader in this category, even though in 2004 plunged, reaching 4.4%.
In terms of countries with a lower level of people without work, it is noticeable that Japan succeded the most comparing to other countries, with only 2.7% in 1994, and 4.5% in the next year, which is marginally higher. Taking Germany, the USA and Australia into consideration, they show a significantly low percentage, which ranges from 6% to 7.2%.
