The table illustrates overall trend in the proportion of internet users in three countries over a twenty-year period from 2000 to 2020.
Overall, it is immediately apparent that it experienced gradual increase in three parts of the world such as the USE, Canada, and Mexico throughout the entire period.
In 2000, the number of people use internet in Mexico stood at a relatively modest figure of 10% while the figures of both the USA and Canada showed higher percentages than Mexico around 44% and 30%. After that, each nation had same significant rises by around 20% during a decade.
From 2010 onwards, when USA witnessed a minimal growth from 75% to 88% and then reached 89%, the percentage of individuals using internet in Canada also boomed steadily from 78% to 90%, and gained 95% in 2020. However, there was pronounced boom of the figure for Mexicans using internet of 20% and 10% in the latter half of a period.
