The bar chart gives information about people’s mobile phone useage according to their age, in four different locations—public transport, streets, restaurant, and family dinners—in a country.
Overall, public transport, street, and restaurant were the most phone used places among 18-29 year olds and 30-49 year olds. In addtion, all age groups less used phones when they were in family dinner.
Below 90% of the 18-29 year olds used phones on public transports, showing the highest point among groups. Then, the trend declined from 18-29 year olds to over 65 aged people, below 80% for 30-49, nearly 50% for 50-64, and around 20% for over 65 year olds.
Street and restaurant places experienced similar results. While just below 80% of the 18-29 year olds were on the phone, around 70% of them utilized phones at the restaurant. The percentage for 30-49 year olds was same at over 80% in these places. Besides, people who are 50-64 year olds accounted for around 30% of the total users in the street, while 30% of them used at the restaurant. Over 65 year olds made up below 10% in the street and at the restaurant. However, around 10% of all age groups used phones when they were in family dinner, showing family dinner was priority for them.
