The line graph below gives data about the percentage of the total land area covered by forest in Finland, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, and Nigeria, from 1990 to 2020. Overall, it is clear that the average area covered by forest in Brazil, Indonesia, and Nigeria had decreased over the periods. In contract, Finland witnessed a littel increased. While Canada had no change in percentage of the forest area.
Nigeria percentage dropped gradully from around 19%, in 1990, to about 1%, in 2020. Both Brazil and Indonesia had similar patterns starting with approximately 65% and 60% to around 63% and 57% in 2010. While Brazil stayed at the same figure, Indonesia dropped to 50% in 2020.
