The line graph illustrates that population of tourists who transported by five types of vehicles (air, car, ferry, bus and coach) in a certain country from 1989 to 2009. Units are measured in percentage.
Overall, the percentage of tourists who used car, air, ferry and coach for transportation increased over the period given, while for transporting by bus, it dropped. At the start of the period, most of tourists transported by bus. In the middle of the period, car was the most popular mode of transport but by the end, air was chosen by most of the tourists for transportation.
With regards to air and car, they transported around 25% of people in 1989. The number of tourits for car peaked at just 60% in 2000 before which the figure fell dramatically to just 40% in 2009. Likewise, the popularity of transporting by ferry and coach started at just 10% and under 10% respectively in 1989 and then rose slightly by 2009 at around under 40%.
On the other hand, bus transported around 55% in the first year. It decreased slightly in the following years and around 35% of people used it in 2000. In the final year, it experienced the least popularity between people at around half of the first year.
