The given bar chart compares the rate of jobless adolescents whose age ranging from 15 to 24 to general unemployment rate in 5 distinct European countries in 2005.
From observation, it can be seen that Poland had the highest rate, whereas Denmark was the country with the lowest numbers during the surveryed period. A noticeable similarity shared by all countries is overall unemployment percentages are lower than that of yound adults.
Starting with the 15-24 year olds rates of unemployment, Poland possessed the highest proportion among all the countries at over 35%. Followed by Italy, Hungary and Germany with 23%, 17% and 14% respectively. The chart bottomed out with Denmark, whose numbers stood a bit over 5%.
Moving on to the overall unemployment percentages, there was a slight shift compared to the aforementioned rates. Poland occupied the most numbers of unemployed individuals at 15%. Germany was the country with the second highest with approximately 10%, followed by Italy and Hungary with 8% and 7% respectively. The report ended with Denmark having the lowest proportion in general at 3%.
