The line graph below illustrates changes in the population of India and China 2000-2050.

Overall, the line graph shows that the population of India is going to increase more than China’s population. China’s population shows a slight increase followed by a gradual decline.

India’s population started to abruptly increase in 2000 and it started at 1000 billions of people . Then, in 2020 it reached more than 1300 billions people . After a while, in 2030 the population quantity is going to reach more than 1400. There is going to be a massive increase in population reaching 1600 in 2050 .

Chiana’s population went from more than 1200 billion people in 2000, to more than 1400 billions in 2025. From 2025 until 2035 there is going to be a plateau. Then from 2035 until 2050 there is going to be a gradual increase that is going to go under 1400.

By contrast,the graph shows that China’s population started with more than India in the number of population but will gradually decrease by 2050. Whereas India’s population is going to increase by 2050.
