The line graph below demonstrates the expenditure of three kinds of spreads between 1981 and 2007.
Overall, “butter” and “low fat and reduced spreads” are obviously unstable throughout the whole period experiencing several big surge and drops. In the meantime the expenditure on Magarine remained relatively stable.
From 1981 to 1986, the consumption of “butter” experienced a slight increase of about 20 grams before going through a dramtic fall of almost 100 grams in the next decade. What’s more ,the descending trend kept going from 1996 to 2007 causing a total drop of about 110 grams. The consumption of “low fat and reduced spreads” started of in 1996 and quickly surged an amount of aproximately 80 grams and then fall slightely 10 grams in the future 6 years.
The overall trend of “Magarine” kept a realatively stable until underwent great descend in 2011 dragging the consumtion of “Magarine” from 90 grams to 40 grams being the lowest of the 3 datas by the end of 2007. In conclusion, each of the datas experienced a drop at 2001 and all had a slight increase or decrease in the begining. The total number of “Magarine” and “butter” went down while “low fat and reduced spreads” went up.
