Overall, while production of petroleum and natural gas rose ver time, the production of coal fell with some fluctuations.
As the graph shows, petroleum production started at about 100 tonnes in 1981 followed by significant increase to around 130 tonnes in 1983. Then, it declined and reach 95 million tonnes in 1991. Afterward, the figure growth again to 130 tonnes respectively and at the end of period fall to 120 tonnes. Regarding natural gas production, they stay stable at 40 million tonnes from 1981 to 1996, but then yhe figure climbed to 82 million tonnes and surpassed the production figures of coal at the end of surveyed period.
By contrast, the productiuon of coal witnessed a decrease in the nineteen yera period. In 1981, 80 million tonnes of coal was producted, but this number declined remarkably to 50 million in 1985. Then, the production increased to nearly 70 million tonnes in 1987 before witnessing steady fall to 40 in 2000, respectively.
