The line chart illustrates the changes that occurred between the years 2017 and 2023 in the amount of liguified gas exported by three countries, namely: Quatar, Australia, and the US.
Overall, the US enjoyed the most significant growth of the featured countries, while Australia saw minor rise and Quatar remained at roughly the same value throughout the observation period.
Into more detail, the US started off in 2017 with the lowest amount of liquified gas exported, roughly 15 million tonnes compared to over 50 exported by Australia and around 75 supplied by Quatar. But the figure grew steadily over the years, and in 2022 it surpassed those of the competitors and almost reached 100 million tonns in 2023.
To less sizable changes, Australia demonstrated an increase by approximately 20 million tonns from 2017 to 2019 and plateaued thereafter coinciding almost prefectly with Quatar’s values.
Lastly, Quatar’s export fluctuated marginally and retained the initial number throughout the period.
