Overall, use of bus and car observed substantial decrease at its numbers, while subway followed an opposite trend. Similarly, to subway both bicycle and walking to the work rise modestly over the period. Additionally, subway reached top became the most used transport surpassing car and bus by the end of the period.
Focusing on transport types that followed downward trend , initially car was the first choice of the Londoners in 1970 at 40 percent with a noticeable gap compared to other forms.
