Overall, cinema movies were most popular among ages 14-24, whereas the age group above 50 were likely to visit cinemas.
In detail, a fluctuation pattern can be observed in all age classifications. In 1988, age groups 25-34, 35-49, and above 50 experienced a comparable decrease of 20% each, whereas only a 15% difference was recorded for ages 14- 24. An increase of about 20% is held by the three age groups that is the same percentage as in the first year, except 25-34 years old, which only climbed up to one-tenth of the whole percentage.
After an increase, the 14-24 years old bracket reported a gradual decrease, falling to 80% in 2008. While the other three remained unchanged until 2008, where ages 25-34 and 35-49 experienced a decreased at 65% and at half of the total percentage, respectively, where above 50 years old recorded an increase at 50%, similar percentage with ages 35-49. In addition, it was also clear that ages 14-24 remains on the top and ages above 50 stays at the bottom.
