Overall, in the 1981 Petroleum had the highest fuel production in the UK, and the Natural gas had the lowest production. There was an increase in the levels of the Petroleum and Natural gas production. However there was a decrease in the level of the Coal production.
The start in 1981 there was a significant rise in the Petroleum production until 140 units and then it stayed flat until 1987. Between 1988 and 1990 there was a decrease in the amount of Petrol from 140 to 100 million tonnes, but then it rose to a peak at 1999.
The most production from Coal is only 80 units and stayed flat until 1983, and then there was a significant fall to under 40 units. There was a significant rise to 60 units, but then there was a slight fall again until the end of 2000.
