The line graph illustrates the information about three demographics (population size, the birth rate and death rate) of English and Wales between 1700 and 2000.

Overall, it can be clearly seen that throughout the given period the birth was more than death rate. Also, the population size rose with time, while the death rate and birth rate experienced fluctuated.

Looking at the details,the population of England and Wales stood at around 3 million in 1700. Over the next five decades, the population rose to 10 million ,but from 1750 to 1800, the population remained unchanged. After 1800,the population again went up considerably and stood at 50 million in 2000.

In 1700, the birth rate and death rate were 30 and 27 per 1000 people respectively. Over the next 50 years, both increased.However after that till 1800,both fell down and in 1950, birth rate was around 22 per 1000 people and death was rate 20 per 1000 people. In the last fifty years,the birth rate went up and stood at 35 per 1000 people in 2000, while the death rate remained constant at 20 per 1000 people.
