The image shows a line graph illustrating UK main fuel production levels (million tonnes) from 1981 to 2000. Petroleum starts at 100, rises to 130 (1986), fluctuates thereafter and ends near 130, surpassing 140 in 1995. Coal, starting near 90, fluctuates, peaks above 120 (1983), then decreases to under 60 (2000). Natural gas starts near 40, increases throughout, crossing 60 around 1991, surpasses 80 post-1995, and finishes near 120. Nuclear and renewables start under 5, slightly rise near 10 by 1990, fluctuate modestly through 2000, finishing similarly under 10.
