The line graph illustrates the productions of three different types of forest productions , namely Pulp, Timber, and Paper between 1980 and 2000.
Overall, while productions of paper had an upward trend, timber fluctuated consistantly over the period. Despite a sharp decline, pulp showed a considerable growth over the period.
Looking at the details, in 1980, the paper production stood at 4 million tonnes, then the trajectory maintained an uninterrupted growth up to 7 million tonnes in 1992, then fluctuated slightly in 1995, before jumping a sharp growth of 12 million tonnes. Pulp production followed the same trend, despite some declines during 1982 and 1995 ;in 1980, the production stood at 6 million tonnes Then after two years, the production significantly dropped into 2.5 million tonnes before reaching satable at 8 million tonnes. In 2000, figures increased to 9.5 million tonnes by placing second most production.
Timber showed a fluctuation throughout the period, from 1980 to 1985, the figure increased significantly to 10 million tonnes making the highest numbers of timbers in the first five years. Then the timber manufacturing fluctuated consistently and reached to 7 million tonnes in 2000 making the lowest quntities.
