Introduction The line graph illustrates what percentage of holidays by people living in the UK, between 1993 and 2007. The destinations are Europe, North America and all other countries worldwide.

Overview Overall, package holidays to Europe fell over the years, while trips to other countries stayed quite steady. For North America, the percentage went up and down but never changed very much. In general, Europe always had the highest share of package holidays, and North America always had the lowest.

Body Paragraph 1 Looking at Europe first, package holidays made up 55% of all trips there in 1993. This number stayed around 55-58% until 1999, before dropping steeply to just under 40% by 2007. By contrast, package holidays to all other countries stayed at 28% in 1993. They rose to a peak of 62% around 1998, then fell slowly to about 55% at the end of 2007.

Body Paragraph 2 Turning to North America, the proportion of package holidays was much lower. It began at 34% in 1993, then rose to nearly 40% by 1998. After this, it dropped back to 31% in 2002, rose slightly again, and finally fell to 30% in 2007.
