The bar chart details figures for the percentage of separate kinds of magazines sold by the company in 1975, 1995 and 2015.
At first glance, sports magazines attracted the most buyers and showed consistent growth in sales throughout the exam period. In contrast, fashion magazines struggled, with demand steadily declining.
As is observed, the sports magazine consistently topped yearly sales, rising from just over 32% to nearly 45%. Fashion and health magazines showed a remarkable change in the sale proportion: fashion magazines’ sales fell from about 22% in 1975 to only 5% in 2015 while health magazines accounted for 26% in 1975 then dropped down to 20% and remained unchanged till 2015.
Falling to 10 % in 2015, the figure in food magazines witnessed the same sales in 1975 after having hit the peak at 22% in 1995, which followed the same pattern with the sales of other magazines that reached their highest point of 33% in 1995, then returned to initial proportion at the conclusion of the period.
