Overall, it can be seen that women were more popular rather than men in emailing and online shopping. In all other sectors, men experienced higher than female.
Looking at the data sets, it is evident that most of the men used the Internet for goods and services it’s all about 71%. The second most popular use among the men was for sending e-mails. A slightly higher percentage of women used the internet for e-mails. Chat rooms were almost equally popular among both with 50% males and 48% females using the internet for this purpose respectively.
Looking at the remaining data sets, it is clear that games were slightly more popular among males 64% than females 58%. 38% of women used internet for online shopping on the other hand men’s used only 28%. Research and education was the sector where internet activity was low only 9% women and 13% men used the internet for this purpose.
