The line graph illustrates acid rain emissions which are measured in millions of tonnes, from four different sectors between 1990 and 2007 in UK.
In 1991, the most significant problem that causes emission was electricity, gas and water supply which was nearly 3.5 million tonnes. It declined steadily throughout the year. However, in 1993, it went down to about 2.5 million tonnes. From 1999 to 2003, it fluctuated around 1 million tonnes and it fell by 0.5 in 2007.
Another factor was transport and communication which was slightly over 0.7 million tonnes in 1991.It stayed the same throughout the year between 1993 and 2001.But, in 2005, there was a slight increase to 1 million tonnes. For other industries, it was just around 2 million tonnes in1991 and 1993 and it receded throughout the period. Then, there remained fairly stable of emission caused by domestic.
Overall, electricity, gas and water supply hit a high point in 1991 although domestic was at the lowest. And the other three went up and down during the peroid.
