The graph presented illustrates unemployment rate in Ireland and the number of people leaving the country from 1998 to 2008. Overall, the relation of these values given will be examined.
Firstly, the unemployment rate kept the level 16% to 1995. However, this rate incredibly reduced to reach to 5% in 2000. In the between 2000 and 2007 this value was maintained as 5%. Later in 2008 the rate rose to 11%.
Secondly, the amount of people leaving the country was determined as 40.000 in 1998. But this amount increased to 65.000 in the half of 1998 and it saw the highest point. Later in 1999 this amount was measured again as 40.000. The number of people leaving followed same level to 2008.
In conculsion, the highest of unemployment rate was measured in 1998 and the lowest rate was looked in 2000. In addition, the highest of the number of people leaving was seen in 1999 and the lowest level was determined in 2000.
