The bar graph shows information about the age of the people in a particular country named Iceland from the year 1990 to 2020. The units have been calibrated in percentage.
Overall, we can clearly say that the age group 25-54 is dominating from the beginning to the end of the given time interval. It is also noteworthy that the age group 15-24 is gradually reducing.
In the begining of the time interval, which is 1990, the population of people above 65 was low(approximately 12%) when compared to the other age groups. In the same year the age group 55-64(nearly 13%) is slightly dominating the 65 and above. These two age groups strength is not consistent. Furthermore, the percentage of people in the age group 25-54 peaked in the year 2020 having almost 50% population.
Moving further, we can see that the people in the age group 15-24 and 0-14 reducing gradually from the year 1990. The population of the people between 15-24 peaks in the year 1990 at 26% and in 2020 its numbers came down to 9% approximately. The trend is almost same with the group 0-14 where the maximum population is in 1990 year with 21% and minimum in the year 2020 with 19%.
