Overall, it is evident that the UK imported by far the largest amount of tea, while Germany recorded the highest figure for coffee imports. In addition, coffee was generally more popular than tea in Canada, the US and Germany.
In terms of tea, the UK stood out significantly, importing approximately 80,000 tonnes, which was far higher than the other countries. Germany ranked second with around 40,000 tonnes, followed by the US at roughly 20,000 tonnes. Canada had the lowest figure, importing only about 20,000 tonnes of tea.
Regarding coffee, Germany led the group, with imports reaching about 50,000 tonnes. The US and Canada showed similar patterns, importing approximately 40,000 and 38,000 tonnes respectively. By contrast, the UK had the lowest coffee imports, at just over 30,000 tonnes.
