The line graph illustrates the count of new Facebook profiles across three age groups in eleven-month span.
Generally, the figures for every age groups ultimately increased, albeit to various degrees, except middle-aged individuals; while the amounts of young adults experienced the biggest change, that of teens rose negligible, mainly because of age restrictions. In addition, young adults topped the chart across nine-month span, whereas middle-aged individuals overtake teens at the end of the period.
Starting in February, the new Facebook users of the age 10-19 rose gradually from only a few hundred to about 2,500 people which was the highest amount through the time given, and dropped to only around 1,100 users at the nearby end of November. You can also see the similar pattern for the age group of users who are in the adults aged between 20-39 which went up from only a few hundred to 3,000 new users within the first three months. However, the numbers of new users fell and leveled off until the end of November.
Middle-aged individuals, however, somewhat bucked the trend. Starting the year at about 3,100, which was the highest among all age backets at that moment. The number slightly dropped to 3,000 followers in April, before experiencing a plague with about 1,000 in June. After that, this pattern experienced fluctuation until September with about 1,200, before overtaking teens in numbers at the end of the period with 1,500.
