it is clear that while Turkey and France experienced a general growth in fruit production, there was an upward trend of Turkey and Germany producers. Moreover, among countries, Spain became the leading fruit producer over the period shown.
with regards to the downward trends of nations, in 1970, Spain was the largest fruit provider, around 5.7 millions of tonnes. Subsequently, 1980 witnessed a slight increase in producing fruit in Spain before gradually declining to 5 million tonnes by 2010. In contrast, the latter’s producer began with producing 2.7 million tonnes in 1970, showed the small drop, approximately 1,7 million tonnes by 1980 and remained relatively stable at 1.4 million tonnes from 1980 to 2000 before ending at 1.2 million tonnes over the final year.
regarding the remaining countries with increasing tendency, France produced just over 1 million tonnes in 1990 and the lowest amount of fruit in four countries. However, the quantity of fruit gradually rose to 1.2 million tonnes by 1980, and demonstrated a significant rise by 1990 before minimally declining around just under 2 million tonnes and reached the peak at 3 million tonnes in 2010. Similarly, Turkey initially produced merely 2 million tonnes and steadily went up to 3.6 million tonnes in 2010 and surpassed Germany and became the second largest producer in various countries by the end of the period.
