The presented chart illustrates how much fruit was produced in 4 different nations namely Spain,Turkey, Germany and France between 1970 and 2010.
Overall, there was an increasing trend in the amount of fruit production in France and Turkey,with the most significant growth seen in France.Meanwhile, the opposite was true for Spain and Turkey. Additionally, the figure for Spanish manufactured fruit always stood at the highest point among surveyed periods.
The amount of fruit offered by Spain started at over 5,5 millions of tonnes , after which it experienced a slight growth to reach the peak of over 6 millions of tonnes in 1980 before ending the period by gradually dropping to just approximately 5 millions of tonnes. By contrast, fruit yield in Germany declined stably from 2,5 millions of tonnes in 1970 to the lowest position in 1990 with only 1.5 million tonnes and remained unchanged until the end of the examined timeline.
In 1970, over 1 millions tonnes of fruit were grown in France which was the bottom figure but it climbed significantly , surpassing Spain and becoming the third lead with almost 3 million tonnes by 2000.At the same time, starting at 2 million tonnes in the first years, fruit production in Turkey steadily rose and reached 3.5 million tonnes in 2010.
