The given line graph illustrates how much fruit was produced by 4 different European countries namely France, Spain, Germany, and Turkey over a period of 40 decades from 1970 to 2010.
Overall, it is noticeable that Spain was the dominant country in fruit production. In contrast Germany represented the lowest trend.
If we look at the information in more detail, the amount of fruit produced in Spain stood at about 5.5 millions of tonnes. Then over the next decade, the figure increased significantly from 5.5 millions to 6 millions. After a substantial growth, there was a sharp reduction to 5 millions with no decline until the final year. At the beginning of the year, in Germany and Turkey the figures started at 2.5 and 2 millions t respectively. Although Germany was higher than Turkey, it declined considerably and made up roughly 1.9 millions in 1990 and maintained the same level up to the given final year. In 1975, as for Turkey, interestingly, there was a stable growth with no decline overtaking Germany, and in 2010, it became the second largest producer with about 3.9 millions. France had the smallest fruit production. By contrast, it witnessed a gradual rise in 1990. It continued its downward trend and reached at 1.9 millions of tonnes. However, the trend saw another growth at the end of the final year to 2.8 million tonnes.
