The bar chart illustrates the production of paper by three producers between 1996 and 2000 in thousands of tonnes. Overall, paper production showed different trends amoung the three companies. While output from Company X and Company Y generally increased over the period, Company Z experienced a decline after peaking in the late 1990s.
On the one hand, Company X had generated 30 thousand of tonnes in 1996 which is stable while Company Y produces around 20 thousand tonnes which is the lowest result compared with the others. In contrast, Company Z showed a gradual increase until 1998. It is noticeable that Company X experienced a flunctuations between 1997 and 1999, while other manufacturers had consistent growth.
On the other hand, in 1999 Company X reached its highest production levels, while Company Z continued to decline. In 2000, Company X’s output fell slightly whereas Company Y experienced a significant rise compared with Company X in 2000. In addition, Company Z continued its downward trend.
