The line graph provides information about the ingestion of fish and different kinds of meat in a particular Europe country from 1979 to 2004.
Overall, the consumption of all types of meat fell except for chicken. It is also worth to mentioniong that beef started the trend with the highest figure, but the chicken surpassed the beef later. The fish ingestion remained almost the same throughout the period.
Looking at Beef and Chicken first of all, the consumption of Beef was 220 gramms on per week each person in 1979 which dominated the graph at this year. In 1984, Beef ingestion peak its highest point reaching at 240 gramms on graph. Over the years, the figures of Beef started to drop steadily standing at 100 gramms at the end of the year(2004). As for the Chicken consumption, althought its figures started from 150 gramms in 1979, in the following years its numbers started to grow substantially accounting for 250 in the final year(2004), recording the highest figure of consumption of all types of meat in the graph.
In terms of Lamb and Fish, the former showed some fluctuations and its weekly per person consumption was 150 gramms in 1979, which declined gradually in the subsequent years reaching at approximately 70 gramms by the end of the year. The fish ingestion was the lowest figure than that of other types of meat, starting from 60 gramms in 1979, decreasing to 40 gramms in 2004.
