At the beginning of 2014, the Sterling Pound was valued at around Rs. 103, reaching its peak early in the year. However, it declined sharply to Rs. 100 by March and showed some fluctuations, with a temporary rise in April to Rs. 101. From June onwards, the exchange rate steadily decreased, reaching its lowest point of approximately Rs. 97 in November, before recovering slightly to end the year around Rs. 98.
In contrast, the Euro began the year nearly Rs. 85 and followed steadily declined. By mid of 2014, it had dropped to Rs. 80 with minor fluctuations in the following months. From September to December, the Euro continued to decline steadily. Additionally, the value around 77 rupee at the ending of the year.
