The two line graphs illustrate the movement of a Sterling Pound and Euro in comparison with the Indian rupee throughout 2014.
Overall, it’s clear that, both rupees was not stable and experienced a gradual downward.
At the beginning of 2014, the Sterling Pound was valued at around R.s103,reaching its peak, before a sharp drop to under R.s100 by March. In April its figure increased to approximately R.s101, but then decrease by R.s2 in May. A more noticeable grow occured in June, at over R.s102. However, from July onwards, it’s value declined steadily, reaching a low of about R.s97 in November, before ending up marginally in the end of the period.
A similar but steadier pattern can be observed for the Euro. Starting at nearly R.s84 in January, fall to around R.s82 in March. After increasing in May, at around R.s83, decline again in May at R.s80. Nevertheless, after a slightly rose in June at R.s82, the figure continuous to decrease, falling to approximately R.s 77 December.
