The following months up to August, the purchases had gone down to a little more than 100 million dirhams. But it had rose to 200 million during October. However, in November the amount of sales was lowered down at 100 million again. At the end of the year, it had a steady growth going to 200 million dirhams.
The sales of gold in Dubai showed a fluctuating pattern of growth throughout the year. People purchased gold the most in March and the least in August and November.
