The given line graph illustrates the variations in the income of four different restaurants, namely the Grosvenor, the Old Hall, the Pizza House, and the Taj Mahal in 2016 in Cambridge.
Overall, it is evident that the Pizza House and the Taj Mahal saw a significant increase in profits by end of the year, whereas the Grosvenor experienced greatly decreased profits over the period. Although the Grosvenor recorded the highest figure at the beginning, it was ultimately surpassed by the Pizza House.
In the first month of the year, the Grosvenor started at around 160, 000 pounds and then fell steadily to around 130, 000 pounds in February. After that, this figure fluctuated around 180,000 to 120,000 pounds from March to September. Its profitation then slightly rose to 140, 000 pound, before decreasing dramatically to approximately 50,000 pounds, making it become the lowest figure. In contrast, the Old Hall remained relatively stable, rising slightly from 100,000 pounds to 80,000 pounds, and then it rose markedly to 140,000 pounds.
In term of the Pizza House, it grew sharply, climbing from around 50,000 pounds in January to a peak of around 190,000 pounds in December. Similarly, the Taj Mahal rose gradually from 30,000 pounds to 120,000 pounds.
