In contrast, dolphin populations were highest in 2017, at 150 milions in the wild. From 2017 to 2019, this figure delined rapidly to 30 milions. In the following three years, this figure again decreased gradually and reaching the bottom of 1 milions in 2022. Finally, whale populations experienced a dramatic fluctation from 80 milions to 100 milions throughout the period.
