Overall, It can be said that boys loved to play football and girls were more interested in swimming compared to other sports activities in an English town in 2012.
To commence with, almost a third fifth of boys preferred to play football which was roughly six times higher than the boys who chose to play Hockey. In addition, 50% of boys are involved in playing tennis and 30% in Badminton. In Cycling and Swimming approximately the same number (40%) of Boys participated in an English town in 2012.
Considering the girls, Half of the girls had shown interest in swimming was doubled from football and five times higher than hockey. In Tennis and Badminton, nearly the same proportion of girls with 40% participated. Lastly, Hockey was played by only 10% of girls in an English Town in the year 2012.
