The bar chart demonstrates how many children,divided by gender,playing 6 different sports( tennis,badminton,cycling,swimming,football and hockey) in an english town by the year 2012
As is shown from the chart,the most obvious trend was the number of boys playing sport higher than that of girls in the examined the timeline.Noticeably,football witnessed the widest disparity between female and male.Football was also the most popular sport for boys while the majority of girls preferred swimming
To begin with,football attracted the highest number of boys,stood at 60.This was followed by tennis and swimming,50 boys and just over 40 boys respectively,The lower number could be seen in cycling and badminton categories,which recorded approximately 40 boys and 30 boys
On the other than,girls was opted for swimming the most and marginally 10 girls higher than that in badminton.What’s more,the similar trend occurred with respect to cycling and football categories, both reached the number of 20.
Finally,hockey was the one which did not appeal many children in the given period, 15 for boys and 9 for girls
