The line graph shows information about how many people immigrated in the US, Canada and Australia, over a ten-year period from 1991 to 2001.
Overall, United States was the most popular, having the highest immigration figure throughout this decade. In addition, Australia remained stable and took the second place, whereas the Canada’s immigrated number of people increased steadily and reached a peak at the end of the period.
Focusing on significant changes first, it was true for USA. At the beginning of the period the number of immigrations was approximately about 1.500.000, however, this figure experienced significant increase and made up 1.800.000. By 1993, the number of immigrations fell to 1.000.000, and it continued decreasing till 1996. After falling sharply to 800.000, the quantity of immigrants witnessed negligible growth approximately to 900.000 in 1998. Nevertheless, this figure remained the identical rate as in the 1998.
As for Canada and Australia, number of immigrated people in both countries stayed approximately identical, except of less negligible growth in the Canada and decrease in the Australia. The overall number of immigrations in the Canada was 200.000 annually and this figure stayed unchanged from 1991 to 2000, while the Austria started approximately with 100.000 visits per year. However, by the end of the period the figure for the Canada witnessed less notable increase to 400.000 immigrations annually. Meanwhile, the Austria experienced negligible decrease approximately to 5.000 visits in 1994 and continued it till the 1995.
