The graph represents the amount of Australian people who took part in various outdoor activities over a ten-year period. Namely camping, horse riding, and cycling.
Overall, two out of three activities experienced a downfall, while horse riding remained the same. It is apparent that picnicking and camping increased and fell throughout the period.
According to the graph, there were over 25% to 30% of people who enjoyed camping in 1997, however after 2001 the line declined to about 30%. Moreover, cycling moderately increased starting from approximately 25% and reached its peak in 2007 at 30%. On the other hand, the popularity of horse riding remained stable at about 10% from 1997 to 2007, which makes it the only activity that didn’t experience any changes.
In summary, it may be concluded that camping and cycling activities have the opposite pattern but ending at the period of 30%, followed by horse riding which remained constant.
