In 2005, football was the most-watched sport, with 40% of people attending live matches, followed by swimming at 20%. Basketball and Tennis had similar audience rates, at around 15% and 12%, respectively; while gold and cycling were the least popular, showing only about 10% and 5%.
By 2015, football’s popularity peaked at nearly 50%, maintaining the top of the lists, while swimming steadily rose at approximately 30%. Basketball and tennis continued to grow, recording to about 20% and 18%, respectively. Golf viewer percentages significantly decrease to around 8%, while cycling remains the least watched sport,though it slightly ascended to about 7%.
