The line graph illustrates the obesity rates of both men and women in Padonia from 2016 to 2020. As can be clearly seen, the levels for both genders display similar upward trends.
Examining the data for women more closely, between 2016 and 2018, there was a gradual increase in the obesity rate from 10% to about 15%, followed by a year of stability. After that, there was a significant rise leading up to 2020, reaching a peak of approximately 25%.
The rate for men started off similarly to that of women in 2016 at about 10%. However, with a slower rate of increase, it gradually reached 15% (the same rate as women) by mid-2018. Following this, the obesity rate for men briefly surpassed that of women, peaking at 20% by mid-2019, before experiencing a slow increase thereafter.
In general, the obesity rate for women remained higher than that of men, with the exception of around 2019.
