In detail, the participation in team sports remained the same, despite some small changes. It slowly reached its peak in the year 1998, accounting for 40%, then diminished to around 32% at the end of the timeline. Meanwhile, starting at just 5% in 1983, the percentage of gym activities skyrocketed in the following decade, reaching its highest point. It then stayed constant at around 24%.
However, turning to swimming, it recorded a completely different allocation. Starting as the main choice, with half of the members in the club, the proportion of the swimming club substantially declined in the next 2 decades, being overtaken by the percentage of team sports members from around 1988 to 1993, and was surpassed by gym activities in the next 5-year period.
