For males, full-time emplyment was a discernible downturn in both years(In 1973 from 55-59 and in 1993 from 45-39). For female, it’s not the same and variable in every age gap. In 1973, the peak for full-time female employment was around 60% in the 25-39 age group, which then plummed about 45% by 1993. There was not a significant disparity between 1993 and 1973.
For males, part-time employment remained reelatively low across all age groups in 1973, generally below 10%. By 1993, there was a substantial augmentation, particularly in the younger(15-24) and older(55+) age group. There were ecratic fluctuations in the exchange pecent between 1973 and 1993. It’s eanging from about 10% to 20%. By 1993, part-time emplyment for women saw a significant decline from 45-39 age group and down less than 5%.
In summary, in Australia between 1973 and 1993, full-time and part-time employment experienced considerable contraction.
