The graphs illustrate the proportion of people having full driving licences in Great Britan by different age categories and sex. In the period of 1975-76 and 2006.
According, to the British male possessing driving licences, the proportion of those in 17 -20 and 30-39 age group of men were seen many changes in given two period, which was around less than 40% and more than 80%respectively. There was an approx. change of 11%to 12% in the category of men in the year 1975-76. Almost 95% of men have license of age group 60-69 and 50-59 in 2006. which was more than the previous year given.
Talking to the data about women, the percentage of 70 and over aged females accounted for around 10% in 1975-76. This was recorded as the smallest figure overall. There were changes seen in different ages group in different year which were slightly increasing. As it can been seen that three group have almost reached 80% in 2006 which are 30-39 40-49 and 50-59. Moreover, the women between 60-69 have little less than 20% in 1975-76 and approx. 63% in 2006.
Overall, it is clearly seen that the percentage of people in different age group and sex having licenses in 2006 is more than the people having licenses in 1975-76 in Great Britan.
