Overall, the amount of money spent on advertising sources such as radio, newspapers and magazines drop steadily over the given period. While the fluctuation of TV source is observed, the Internet source increases constantly.
At the beginning of the period TV was the biggest source of adverts with 50% of money spent. This source reached its peak (60%) in 2020, but only about 40% of money will be spent on TV adverts in 2030 and 2040.
The amount of money spent on adverts in newspapers and magazines is approximately the same over the 30 years, but on newspaper adverts are always spent more money than on magazines advertising (difference of about 2%). Radio, newspapers and magazines had 45%, 35% and 33% of money spent accordingly in 2010, and 29%, 20% and 18% will be spent in 2040.
The lowest percentage of money was spent on adverts on the Internet (10%). Despite the fact that this source still had the lowest amount of money in 2020, the percentage increased to 25%. However, more than 50% is going to be spent on advertising on the Internet in 2030, this will make the Internet the most popular source. The tendency will save to 2040, and the Internet advertising will account for about 60%.
