Overall, there were more tourists regarding Australia as the destination from 1995 to 2000 both in the UK and America, whereas the number of which dropped in Japanese during the same period. It is clear that the travel agency predominated between 1995 and 2005, despite the climb of figure belong to the other type.
Commencing with the tourists’ number, although the number of American tourists was just above 400 thousand in 1995, slightly less than the figure in the UK, at approximately 600 thousand, there was a sharp increase after that, peaking at around 140 thousand as UK in 2000. Dramatically, there was a downward trend in Japanese over 5-year period, dipping from 140 thousand to 700 thousand.
Concerning the types of travels among these countries, there was a flatruation in the group of travel agency. The first 5-year period saw a soar, jumping from 9 billion to 15 billion. When the figure began decreasing in 2000, however, it has changed by 8 billion over the last 5 years. By contrast, the amount of the other type occurred a slight rise over the whole period, reaching from around 3 billion to 6 billion.
