The line graph presents data on cases of influenza among residents over 65 in a specific village in the UK from 1985 to 1995.
It is noticeable that, at the beginning of the period, 40 people were diagnosed with influenza. From that moment, the line depicts an upward trend from 40 to 55 in just 2 years. After reaching that point, the disease experienced a decline, where it went down to 45 people. It is clear that the line illustrates a minor fluctuation reaching 50 people.
As can be seen from the graph, in 1989, the influenza disease skyrocketed to 70 cases in just 12 months, whereupon, in 1991 line showed an upward trend again reaching, its peak point (about 75 people). From that moment on, there was a slight downward fluctuation decreasing to 60 people in 1992. In the period from 1992 to 1993, the figure remained constant. After 1993, the line displayed steady fluctuations, going upward in 1994 and going down in 1995.
