The diagram depicts how the chocolate is manufactured.
Overall, the production of the chocolate comprises various stages, including harvesting, processing, and manufacturing subsequently.
The process commences with harvesting cacao trees that are usually grown in parts of South America, Africa, and Indonesia. After being harvested, the white cocoa beans are extracted from the pods. This is followed by the fermentation process of beans, after which they are spread under the sun to dry out. As they are dried and fermented, they are put in large bags to be transported by either lorry or train to the chocolate factory.
At this stage, the production of the chocolate begins. Once beans are in the factory, they are roasted in the special apparate that heats up to striking 350 Celsius. After the beans are roasted enough, the outer shell has been removed before crushing the beans. Finally, the liquid chocolate is produced when the inner part of the beans is pressed.
