The process illustrates the production of leather products. Overall, it is clear that there are many stages involved in this process. Notably, the process is a complex one, requiring a lot of special equipment and human labour.
The process starts when animal skin is fully dried after being peeled. Then, it is distributed to the factory to be processed by truck. When it arrives at the factory, the leather is washed in water mixed with lime. Once it is washed, the leather is soaked in lime juice to be more flexible and elastic.
After this, the leather is flattened with a special roller machine and soaked in tannin, which is water mixed with vegetable matter. In the following step, the soaked leather is polished with a roller. Ultimately, the half-finished product is ready for transport to factories to make leather products such as bags, shoes, and ball
