The line graph compares the employment rate in construction, technology, healthcare, and retail in Australia from 1985 to 2015.

Overall, the construction employment rate sharply rose. Also, technology and healthcare increased. Whereas, retail sharply declined.

In 1985, retail’s employment rate was the highest at 14%. It increased till 1995, and after that rates sharply decreased. In 2015, retail had the lowest employment rate with 5%.

In sharp contrast to this, healthcare took the lead at employment rate in 1990, even though in 1995 to 2000 technology passed over healthcare, it still managed to keep the lead at the end of the year. Besides that, technology fluctuates while significantly rising. Also, construction substantially increased through the years.
