The line graph illustrates the reasons for moving to a capital city of a selected country between 2000 and 2015. These reasons are employment, study, family/friends and adventure.
We can see that the least popular reasons for moving are adventure and family or friend based. These two reasons had nearly the same rate until 2005, around 11.000 people. When we consider 2015, moving for friends and family has doubled its rate while moving for adventure slightly increased to 15.000 people.
In 2015, the two most popular reasons were study and employment. Their rates were on the same point, both around 88.000 people. However, that was not the case in 2005. Even if they have the same rate now, in 2005, there was a big gap in numbers. The gap was around 35.000 people, moving for study being the less popular.
In general analyze, moving because of employment was the most popular in both 2005 and 2015 whereas moving for adventure reasons was the least popular in both 2005 and 2015.
